Job Summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Mortuary Assistant to join our experienced team of technicians and support staff. Our department provides a wide range of mortuary and post-mortem services, including specialized neuropathology, infectious post-mortems, and a supra-regional paediatric post-mortem service. As a busy department, we receive over 3,000 patients and perform more than 1,000 adult and 250 paediatric post-mortems annually.
Core working hours are 07:30-17:00, Monday to Friday. We also offer a 24/7 technical on-call service.
